 ARNALDO - PAINTER and POET

Arnaldo (Arnold Nieuwendam 1946) Arnaldo - painter and poet.
 He loves to go out on his bicycle into Waterland, the flat marshy land north of Amsterdam.
This is also where he finds the inspiration for his paintings.

Arnaldo’s first oil paintings are from 1960. Since the 1970‘s his style has
changed into a more impressionist direction. From 1984 onwards
his paintings are of a more expressionistic character,
later turning into abstract-expressionism.

Next a new element emerged in his work, horizontal stripes,
which gives his abstract paintings a touch of landscape.
This aspect is still developing, as the pictures show.
Beside landscapes, Arnaldo has done a great number
of other subjects in the same expressionistic style.

Carla Klein and Arnaldo are both more than 40 year artists.
 

Arnaldo (Arnold Nieuwendam) oil painting paintings, water-colour pastels and poems. Arnaldo paint with oil painting. Moreover he is designer, of among others stained glass windows, writes Article and Arnaldo spend poem books of own hand. Two artists and two work shops under one roof. Both free both work and art in task. In that last category a lot of have been meanwhile realised.
